„ibug“ – short for „Industriebrachenumgestaltung“ (industrial wasteland redevelopment)

For IBUG 2026, I installed a series of textiles as three-dimensional sculptures in the landing dock of the former Muskatorwerke in Riesa. Once used by ships transporting food supplies, the space carries traces of movement, exchange and industrial history.
Across the surrounding of the former industrial ground , I installed wind-driven mobiles and small, hidden textile interventions, creating unexpected encounters with colour, light and movement.
All textiles were designed and produced by me on STOLL knitting machines. Playing with colour, light and structure, the works transform industrial remnants into moments of play, wonder and magic.
